Based in Boston, Kate Strayer-Benton is active in Egon Zehnder’s global Health Practice. Having spent her entire career both in and serving the healthcare sector, she draws on extensive management and consulting experience to provide executive search and leadership advisory support to healthcare clients both in the US and globally. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Kate was the Senior Director of Business Development at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Earlier she was with Momenta Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge as the Director of Corporate Development & Strategy. Kate launched her career at Health Advances, an independent life science strategy consulting firm in Weston, Massachusetts that was subsequently acquired by Parexel. In her last role at Health Advances, Kate served as the company’s Director of Business Development. Kate earned a BA in psychology from Dartmouth College and an MBA from its Tuck School of Business. Supplementing her work as an Egon Zehnder consultant, she is passionate about advancing the careers and development of women via formal organizations, professional development programs, and mentoring. A native of New Hampshire, Kate enjoys spending time on Squam Lake and Lake Winnipesaukee and skiing and hiking in the White Mountains.
