Katja Witte, based in Cologne, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Consumer, Health and Industrial practices, focusing on executive search and building high-performing, purposeful teams. Drawing on her experience in both consulting and industry, she is in her element advising corporate clients and family-owned businesses. They value Katja for her ability to think strategically and help them drive positive change across their organization. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Katja was category and portfolio director in the management team of Mars Austria, Belgium and Switzerland. She had various leadership roles both on demand and supply side and was instrumental in designing and implementing different large-scale transformations on a local and global level. Prior to that, Katja was a Junior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company focusing on consumer and health industries. Katja holds a diploma in business administration from the University of Cologne and a master’s in international management (MiM/CEMS) from the LSE in London, and the University of Cologne. She deepened her cultural awareness and entrepreneurial passion with an MBA at IESE in Barcelona, and IAE in Buenos Aires. Outside work Katja enjoys traveling with her husband, rock climbing and playing beach volleyball.
