Rieke Ringel is based in Düsseldorf, Germany and active in Egon Zehnder’s Health and Chemical & Process Industries practices. Drawing on her deep experience advising both large DAX companies and midsized family-owned firms, she provides insightful and sound advice for filling management positions, resolving issues, and achieving the best possible business results. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Rieke was with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for more than a decade, serving as a Principal for the health and chemicals industries and Recruiting Director for G&A. Earlier she was a researcher at Gene Center Munich. Rieke is passionate about diversity and fostering talented women in particular. Rieke earned a master’s degree in biochemistry from the Ruhr University Bochum while writing her thesis on biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology at the Max Planck Society, and a PhD in biochemistry from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. She has published scientific articles in Nature and Cell. Rieke enjoys playing handball, practicing yoga, and recharging her batteries by spending time in the mountains and nature with her two young sons.
