David Hejgaard, based in Copenhagen, is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications, Digital, and Consumer practices. He is greatly appreciated by clients for his ability to help them resolve their issues and achieve greater success with practical insights derived from his broad commercial experience. Before joining Egon Zehnder, David was CCO at YouSee, Denmark’s largest telecommunications company, where he was responsible for pricing, portfolio & channel management, marketing and e-commerce. Prior to that, he served as Head of Nordics at online fashion platform Zalando. Before that, David held commercial leadership positions with Widex (now WS Audiology) and former Nordic fashion portfolio company IC Group and worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. David began his career at Plesner Law Firm, focusing on M&A and commercial law, while teaching corporate law and accounting at the University of Copenhagen. David holds a Masters in Law from University of Copenhagen with an exchange year at the University of Sydney in Australia. David loves skiing, hiking, cycling and spending time with his family and is fascinated by all facets of tech, health, and psychology.
