Junichi Iwagami, based in Tokyo, is the leader of our Financial Services practices. He is also active in Industrial practices as well as board consulting. A seasoned expert in fields including mergers and acquisitions, he draws on many years of management, banking, and consulting experience to intelligently advise clients who seek his help in dealing with corporate governance and other senior management issues. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Junichi was a Partner and Managing Director of the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked with leading financial institutions and industrial goods companies on senior management issues including corporate strategy development, M&A and organizational transformation. Previously, he served as a Manager of the M&A Advisory Group of Arthur Andersen LLP in Tokyo as well as an Assistant Manager of the M&A Advisory Group at Sanwa Bank, Limited. Junichi has earned a BA in economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
