Biography
Gaby Riddington is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Sydney office where she leads the Heidrick Consulting business in Australia and New Zealand as an active partner in Asia Pacific. With a senior executive career spanning 25 years in corporate, consulting, and executive search, Gaby brings to her clients a deep understanding of the commercial landscape and the contextual leadership capabilities and behaviours that accelerate business performance. Gaby joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2020 on her return to Australia from Singapore. Prior to this move, Gaby founded and led a specialist leadership development and executive coaching firm, Kipling Partners. Over a 14-year period, Gaby successfully grew the business in Australia and New Zealand, and in 2017 expanded to Singapore, building her team to better support their Asia Pacific clients. Her arrival back in Australia marked the beginning of an exciting opportunity for Gaby and her team, bringing together their experience and deep expertise to further boost Heidrick’s leadership consulting capability in the region. Earlier in her career, Gaby spent over a decade as an executive director of an ASX listed recruitment organization. As a highly experienced leadership advisor, Gaby works with individuals and teams at the C-Suite level globally in complex stakeholder environments. She has a demonstrated track record in supporting organizations to realize their leadership aspirations and deliver business strategy by building individual, team, and organizational capabilities. Gaby advises clients on leadership development, succession planning, executive assessment, team and board effectiveness, with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. As an innate entrepreneur, she brings an innovative, data informed approach to co-create impactful yet pragmatic client solutions. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. University of Sydney, Master's Degree in Coaching Psychology and Human Resource Management.
