Biography
Mr. Kniebel has helped numerous clients successfully implement 360 and potential identification tools as a part of integrated talent management initiatives. Also a skilled coach, he has worked with individuals in a variety of industries to develop the leadership skills needed to address their developmental gaps.
Prior to joining the Firm via PDI Ninth House, a Korn Ferry company, Mr. Kniebel worked in human resources for BNSF Railways, as a research analyst for the Human Resource Research Institute, and as an IT professional in a medical device company.
Mr. Kniebel's core expertise is in Integrated Talent Management systems design. He has developed competency models, as well as selection, succession, development, and performance management systems and tools, for clients of varying sizes across a wide array of industries.
His goal in partnering with his clients is to provide practical guidance in helping them meet immediate needs while keeping an eye toward the future. Mr. Kniebel encourages his clients to consider a full range of alternatives to ensure that solutions are well suited to their specific situation. His industry expertise spans that of financial services, hospitality, agriculture, energy, education & training, public sector, government, the medical device industry, and retail sectors.
Mr. Kniebel earned a master of arts in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in psychology and Asian studies with a Japanese concentration from St. Olaf College.
