Jessica Cummings brings to her role as an associate in WittKieffer’s Professional Search Practice a wealth of knowledge of the higher education and nonprofit landscape. Her background in higher education admissions affords her a keen understanding of the major challenges faced by colleges and universities today and of the need for great leaders to move the industry forward. Jessica believes in building strong, lasting relationships with both clients and candidates as the basis for successful search engagements. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Jessica was the associate director of admissions for Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. In this role, she managed several of the college’s key recruitment markets, led admissions committees for application review, and was part of the division’s senior leadership team. She also managed the admissions visitor experience and events teams and served as a senior staff mentor and trainer to new admissions hires. In all, Jessica spent nearly a decade at Oberlin. Before that, she was a program associate for the Food Trust in Philadelphia, where she developed a formal and comprehensive volunteer program among other accomplishments. She was also a program coordinator for Greener Partners, a nonprofit community agriculture project in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
