Biography
Ms. Alderdice works with clients to align structures, roles and reward frameworks to drive employee engagement, motivation and performance.
Ms. Alderdice works with several infrastructure organizations to translate new operating models into clear processes and roles to ensure effectiveness and remove duplication. She carried out benchmarking studies to identify efficiencies and significant cost savings. She supported a number of organizations post merger to harmonize grade, pay and progression arrangements. She has also worked with a leadership group to redesign work processes in their teams to improve the quality and pace of decision making.
With more than twenty years of consulting experience across most parts of the economy Ms. Alderdice has deep expertise in understanding and designing organizations and work regardless of sector or function. She is a global expert in designing and implementing work measurement methods.
Ms. Alderdice leads the design and implementation of job families, grade and reward structures and performance management processes. She helps clients make connections between job design, the characteristics of individuals most likely to be successful in those roles, and the reward and recognition mechanisms needed to motivate and engage them.
In addition to her client facing role, Ms. Alderdice represents the UK on our global work measurement expertise and quality group.
Ms. Alderdice holds a bachelor's of art (honors) in marketing and modern languages from the University of Strathclyde. She also holds an master's of philosophy by research into buyer behavior related to advertising effectiveness and store/brand image.
Ms. Alderdice is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a member of Worldatwork. She is fluent in French.
