Juha-Pekka Ahtikari is a core member of the firm’s Board & CEO Advisory Partners and the Industrial team. Until recently, he also oversaw the firm’s operations in Finland. He has over 30 years of executive search experience in Finland and internationally in advising Finnish and international clients on a wide variety of chairman, board, CEO and senior leadership recruitments, as well as leadership and board evaluations across all industries for listed, private and private-equity-owned companies. He is based in Helsinki. Juha-Pekka's recent assignments include several large cap CEO appointments, Chairman, Board Member, Executive Board Member searches and executive assessments of entire management teams as well as board development assignments in listed, private and private equity-owned companies. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Juha-Pekka was Partner and Office Managing Partner at a leading global executive search firm in Helsinki. Prior to this, he was Senior Partner of another global executive search firm in Helsinki. In addition to building international client accounts, he was establishing and developing successful international level executive search operations in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tallinn and Riga. Juha-Pekka has also been recognized in the Global 200 Executive Recruiters' Guide. Juha-Pekka received his LLM from the University of Helsinki Law School and is fluent in Finnish, English and Swedish and conversational German.
