Amit has deep industry experience in Infrastructure, Renewable Energy (Solar) and Automotive. Prior to joining the Executive Search industry, he founded a Solar Energy consulting company serving Indian and International MNCs. His last Corporate role was of the CEO for Power- One India (acquired by ABB). Earlier, he started his career with Federal Mogul Corporation and had stints with SunPower, SunEdison, Amrop India, McCormick & Co, Black & Decker and Ford Motor Co. He holds expertise in advising clients on leadership hiring, with special focus on chief executive officer and chief experience officers. He worked for business segments of product, operations, sales and market development across multiple segments including industrial, power, energy and automotive. He has led market entry in new countries and new industry segments, spearheaded joint venture and technology transfer initiatives, and grown or rationalized product portfolios. He has also developed a strong base with Indian business groups to help them with senior talent needs for their aggressive growth in India and overseas. Amit secured his Master's in Business Administration degree specializing in marketing and supply chain from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, USA. He has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toledo, USA and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, University of Bombay, in India.
