Christy Pearson, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with nearly 25 years of leadership, executive coaching, and consulting experience. Specializing in the psychology of leadership, she brings both deep knowledge and unique perspectives when advising clients. She has worked in industries ranging from healthcare and pharmaceuticals to nonprofits and insurance. Christy excels in advising organizations on their talent makeup, ensuring needed bench strength, and the effective deployment of leadership capabilities in critical roles. She also advises leaders through transition and change via new leader integration efforts, team alignment and development processes, and succession planning programs. She is recognized for her integrity, credibility, and ability to quickly establish long-term, trusted relationships. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Christy served as a senior consultant at a Chicago-based talent management firm. Before that, she co-founded Opus Leadership Group, a boutique consulting firm specializing in assessment and coaching for executive leaders and other key talent. She also worked with an international consulting firm focusing on leadership solutions that drive organizational performance. Her leadership experience includes being a member of a senior management team at a State of Colorado agency, where she developed and managed new programs, earning recognition for best practices. Outside of her career, Christy values community involvement. She served as a board member for a Colorado-based credit union and volunteered for Dress for Success. Additionally, she mentored University of Colorado students as part of their New Venture Challenge program, which was designed to develop and fund innovative ideas to drive positive real-world impact. When not delving into the complex world of organizations, she satisfies her adventurous spirit by exploring the American West as well as the broader reaches of the world.
