Olivier Knapp manages Spencer Stuart’s Brussels office and is a member of the firm’s Financial Officer, Professional & IT Services, Private Equity and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices. He specializes in recruiting senior-level executives for clients across industries throughout Europe. With his international profile and management consulting background, Olivier brings to his role an extensive network and a deep knowledge of the finance function. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Olivier worked for a leading strategy consulting firm based in London, then Brussels. His assignments included strategic due diligences, post-merger integrations, market-entry strategies in payments, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), banking and insurance. He has spent over a decade living and working abroad. Olivier has been based in Paris, London and Hong Kong and also frequently worked on cross-border assignments. Previously, he was a foreign-exchange trader at UBS in London, covering the BeNeLux and Nordics for large institutional investors. Olivier holds an MBA from London Business School and a bachelor’s degree from King’s College, the London School of Economics and Sciences-Po, Paris. He is fluent in French, English and Dutch, has a strong command of German, and is conversational in Spanish and Italian.
