As an MD with more than 30 years experience in leadership development, strategy execution and management, Dr. Fitzsimons helps leaders optimize their impact and gain the required organizational commitment and alignment to fully realize sustainable business value. He has designed and led custom leadership development initiatives, facilitated senior team effectiveness outcomes, and provided executive coaching services to a wide range of organizations, including multi-national Fortune 500 corporations and notably the healthcare industry (with hospital providers, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, CROs, etc.). He has also developed and delivered work in financial services, telecommunications, publishing and the consumer industry. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Dr. Fitzsimons was a partner in the leadership and organizational performance practice of a global strategy consulting firm. Before that he was a partner in a strategy execution consulting firm where he helped leaders successfully implement business imperatives in organizations undergoing transformational change. Dr. Fitzsimons also spent 17 years in the multi-national pharmaceutical industry in global R&D, strategic marketing and country executive roles. Dr. Fitzsimons graduated in medicine from Bristol University (UK) and practiced internal medicine and cardiology in London teaching hospitals, having earned his post-graduate Membership of the Royal College of Physicians.
