Before joining WittKieffer, Demarcus was an executive sourcing recruiter for Meta (formerly Facebook), focused on recruiting corporate executives for the company in human resources, legal, finance, accounting, and other key functions; his responsibilities included building sourcing strategies, attracting strong leadership talent and presenting candidates to hiring authorities. Prior to that, Demarcus served as a managing associate for a major global executive search and management advisory firm, responsible for full life-cycle recruitment and account management for clients in the for-profit healthcare sector, including PE-backed firms, for-profit hospital systems, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
