Biography
Sharon has served in the roles of CEO, board director, strategist, and consultant, designing and delivering global business strategies and executing them through varying people dimensions.
Having spent 18+ years in global finance with expertise in asset management, insurance, real estate, hedge funds, commodities and private equity, she has a deep understanding of the capital markets, how business drivers impact company valuations and the challenges of balancing organizational priorities.
Sharon has held leadership managing director roles at Credit Suisse, Citigroup, and Deutsche Asset Management and has spent much of her career as a strategic advisor to global organizations.
Throughout her career, Sharon has worked very closely with boards on transformation and change including governance, strategy, growth, restructuring, risk and crises.
Given her unique blend of inside industry management roles and external consulting experience, she understands how to navigate the challenges faced by company executives in driving for performance while attracting and retaining top talent.
Sharon is distinctively experienced in identifying opportunities during complex and uncertain times while, in parallel, (re)positioning revenue opportunities to protect business valuation and advance competitive positioning.
Of note, Sharon is passionate about impact and chaired the board of a $150 mm large not-for-profit for many years. During her tenure, she drove improvements to the executive compensation plan and the organization's advocacy for public private partnerships. Sharon also led the board's executive committee for 10 years.
Sharon holds a J.D. from Hofstra University and a Certificate of Executive Education in Business Insights: From Data to Analytics from the Wharton School.
