Atul Bhandari is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s New Delhi office and leads the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice across Asia Pacific. He specializes in the appointments of senior executives within the converging areas of technology, media, telecom and digital. He is also a member of the Professional & IT Services and Technology Officer practices. Atul brings more than 20 years of experience in management consulting, technology and leadership advisory across India and the U.S. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Atul served as part of the SAP India leadership team, where he worked closely with CEOs and boards of leading Indian conglomerates to drive their technology-led business transformations and was responsible for conceptualizing and developing industry-focused go-to-market programs. As part of SAP Americas based in Palo Alto, he was instrumental in driving key strategy initiatives that included regional growth plans, M&A and portfolio planning. Before joining SAP, Atul worked with McKinsey & Company in the firm’s Palo Alto and India offices, where he consulted on strategy and organizational issues with firms in technology, media and digital. Atul holds an M.B.A. from Lally School of Management & Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University. He speaks English and Hindi.
