Biography
Giles Goschen's focus is on recruiting senior-level executives specifically for the cybersecurity, aerospace, defence, air transport, shipping, rail and logistics sectors.
Prior to entering the search profession, he worked in the Investment Banking division of Deutsche Bank, where he focused on M&A and capital markets transactions in the transport sector in the U.K. and in Europe. He went on to become a partner in Barchester, a London-based corporate finance boutique.
Mr. Goschen served as Minister for Aviation and Shipping in the British Government from 1994 to 1997. As such, he was responsible for all U.K. civil maritime and aviation policy, and for the sponsorship of the airline, airport, shipping and seaport industries. He represented the U.K. in the European Transport Council of Ministers, and negotiated international air service agreements with foreign governments.
Mr. Goschen remains a member of the House of Lords. He received a bachelor's degree in business studies.
