With almost 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, Mr. Solares has worked with several teams in managing, recruiting and training personnel. He has also worked side by side with NGOs, specialized agencies, academia, chambers and financial clients and employees from several multicultural environments in more than 25 countries. Before joining Korn Ferry Mexico, Mr. Solares worked at Amrop, Seeliger & Conde as Partner for the Company's office based in Monterrey. Prior to this, he worked at LG Electronics Mexico as Human Resources Deputy Director and at CEMEX, holding several positions while gaining broad experience in staff coordination, business general management, forecast, program management and succession planning. His prior professional experience also includes working at Bimbo as Communication and Institutional Relations Coordinator and at Televisa Broadcasting as News Reporter and Anchor's Assistant. As for his academic education, Mr. Solares obtained a Master's Degree in Communication Management from the CESMA Business School in Madrid, Spain. In 1998, he graduated from the ITESM university based in Monterrey, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science. He is a regular speaker and writer for several media and forums, mainly aimed to topics such as Talent Management, Corporate Culture, and Executive Recruiting. Mr. Solares is the Vice President of COPREM, the Mexican Council for Buisinesses Forecast.
