With more than a two decades of experience at the national and international level, Mr. Ortega has developed many successful processes for global organizations. Before joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Ortega was a Corporate Finance and Strategy Expert at McKinsey & Company in New York. Previously, he worked at Stern Stewart & Co., where he started as an Associate and progressed to the position of Senior Vice-President. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ortega held the positions of Commercial Vice President at FiduComercio-Bank of Bogota, Treasurer at Group Inchcape and Credit, and Financial and Planning Supervisor in Monsanto. Certified consultant in leadership Architech Suite of Lominger, and executive coaching programs of Leadersource and Lore International Institute (subsidiaries of Korn Ferry). He is a regular columnist of America Economia, La República and Dinero among others, was awarded with the 2012 Global Excellence in Client Satisfaction of LTC. Mr. Ortega earned a MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Business School at Rochester University in the U.S. He has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Javeriana University in Bogota. Also he is teacher in leadership and talent management in CESA, and in the EMBA of Prime Business School, Sergio Arboleda University in Bogota.
