Joana Proença de Carvalho began her career at Andersen Consulting as a consultant in the area of Human Capital. Having integrated Heidrick & Struggles in 2001, she was part of the team that developed and launched the practice of Leadership Services in Portugal and the SELA region (South Europe and Latin America). In 2006, she integrated Brandia Central, a group of branding and communication companies, where she performed executive functions, being responsible for the human resources and support area, in Portugal, Angola and Brazil. From 2012 to 2015, she was partner of FESA Company the biggest financial Services executive search In Brazil, where she launched consultancy services, having led projects in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Brasília and Belem. Joana joined Signium in 2017 as Partner. She has more than 21 years of professional experience in the Human Capital Area, with more than 15.000 hours dedicated to the evaluation and analysis of executive profiles, having developed projects in sectors such as Engineering and Construction, Telecommunications, Industry, Media, Health and Utilities, acting both in the area of Executive Search as in Consulting, including corporate governance, organization and human capital. Joana has a Management Degree by the ISCTE. Additionally, she holds a certification in Life & Executive Coaching, by ICI – Integrated Coaching Institute. She speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese.
