Jacques Sarfatti is the leader of the Board & CEO Advisory Partners Practice and also leads the Industrial & Natural Resources Sector in Brazil. Based in Sao Paulo, his areas of expertise are board effectiveness and governance, CEO succession planning and family business. He customizes solutions in ESG and diversity for his clients globally. Jacques recruits a wide range of professionals, including Non-Executive Directors and C-suite roles for both private and listed companies. He also advises family-owned businesses regarding their strategies for multigeneration long-term success. Jacques is also a senior member of the Leadership & Succession Sector, assisting clients in succession planning to ensure the alignment of talents to company strategy. Jacques joined the Russell Reynolds São Paulo office in 1999. Prior to joining the firm, he was with Alcoa Brazil, where he served as Operations Director for the Foundry and Packaging Divisions. Previously, Jacques spent three years with Rheem, serving as Operations Vice President of the Packaging Division. He began his career with Andersen Consulting (presently Accenture), where he spent 9 years. Jacques received his BS in Civil Engineering and his postgraduate degree in marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-RJ). He holds a diploma in business administration from University of California, Berkeley. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and French.
