Ms. McGee leads the CEO Succession Practice in the UK on behalf of Advisory, focusing on working with Boards, Chairs, CEOs and their executive teams as they navigate succession decisions, to help assure seamless and successful transitions, and build bench strength. Ms. McGee is an experienced business leader and management consultant. Her recent career includes over fifteen years in executive roles, with both a US-based and a leading European human capital consulting firm. She also set up and led a leadership consulting business within one of Europe's leading publicly held recruitment firms. She has worked with clients across all sectors, from global, FTSE 100 firms to fast-growing AIM listed and PE-backed companies. She has particular expertise in CEO assessment and development, top team effectiveness, and in helping executives individually and collectively impact their organisations with greater purpose. She has coached leaders and teams extensively, particularly those facing transition or making strategic shifts in response to market disruption. She is certified as a Lead in Korn Ferry's flagship ELI and CEI executive development programs. She has worked with executive teams across a range of sectors, from FMCG and luxury goods, to the top teams of private equity firms, across various global industrials and fast-growing technology companies. She is quick to grasp the sector challenges and nuance while also bringing rigour, insight, care and pragmatism in her approach. She has spoken numerous times on the BBC, at CBI and CIPD events, and written for the IoD, ICAEW and TES on leadership topics. During a three-year sabbatical in the public sector, she led culture transformation within one of the UK's largest forensic mental health NHS trusts, working with the CEO, Board and Executive Team to develop and successfully execute a new vision, values, brand and stakeholder management strategy, in the context of a turnaround. In her earlier career, Ms. McGee worked in various senior leadership roles at Dun & Bradstreet, BT plc and Logica plc. Ms. McGee is qualified at BPS Level A, and also in the use of 16PF, MBTI, Hogan HPI, HDS and MVPI, ViaEdge and KFALP amongst others. Ms. McGee holds a post-graduate diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a First Class Honours degree in English from Southampton University. She is currently undertaking a post-graduate diploma in coaching at Hult Ashridge Executive Education. She is a trustee of DASH, a charity whose mission is to educate and act, to end domestic abuse.
