Biography
Allen brings over 30 years of leadership experience to Diversified Search Group. Prior to joining DSG, he served as executive director of the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program from 2012 through 2020.
The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program is an undergraduate leadership development program jointly run at UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University. Under Allen’s leadership, the program established itself as one of the preeminent undergraduate leadership programs in the U.S.
Allen’s experience spans many industries – including management consulting, higher education, technology, staffing, investment management, telecommunications, and leadership development.
Allen has worked in a range of entrepreneurial, educational, corporate and consulting organizations, including Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he conducted and led studies for large corporations in strategy, operations and business process re-design; Resource Mosaic, an Atlanta-based consulting, talent identification and staffing firm he co-founded in 2006; and the University of Notre Dame-based Hesburgh- Yusko Scholars Program, where he served as executive director.
He has previously served on the boards of several Atlanta-based organizations, including the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, Families First and Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta.
He currently lives in Chapel Hill, N.C. with his wife, Kathryn.
