Biography
Ms. Birnbaum works with companies to develop total reward programs and strategies for their organization. This includes developing job architectures, career ladders, and linking job levels and performance to appropriately competitive pay structures based on the organization's reward philosophy and peer group.
Ms. Birnbaum has significant experience working with retail organizations, including designing total reward programs at both the store and corporate level.
Ms. Birnbaum has expertise in working with clients on reward strategies to design competitive base salary structures and variable pay programs to attract, retain, and motivate talented employees at all levels.
She serves as a project manager for major reward consulting projects and provides strategic guidance to clients in all areas of reward consulting.
Ms. Birnbaum has worked extensively with the Korn Ferry-Profile Method of job evaluation and has trained clients to understand and implement this method for measuring work within their organization.
Ms. Birnbaum has significant expertise in working with retail organizations to design store hourly job levels and geographic pay structures given the changes in the market due to increasing minimum wage and competitive start rates.
Ms. Birnbaum received a Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from Westminster College.
