Muna Awwadova is a senior member of the firm’s Industrial & Natural Resources and Healthcare Sectors. Based in Dubai, she has more than 20 years of experience focusing on executive search and leadership development, primarily in the Middle East. Muna specializes in supporting clients through change management, assessing executive leadership and recruiting impactful executive talent, both regionally and around the globe. Recent client experience has included advisory work with clients in the power, built environment, infrastructure, manufacturing, life sciences and government industries. Muna joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Accord Group Interim Management in Prague, where she specialized in recruiting interim managers for restructuring and turnaround projects. She previously spent five years with a global executive search firm based in Dubai, where she led regional efforts for the industrial practice and managed the Middle East office for two years. Earlier in her career, Muna held roles of increasing responsibility with KPMG, ending her tenure as Head of Executive Search Services and Associate Director of People & Change Advisory Services. Muna holds a BSc in mechanical engineering, automation systems and control, from the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic. She speaks fluent English, Arabic and Czech.
