Biography
Ms. Patel’s current work involves CEO succession as well as leading broader assessment and development of high-potential executive talent. She specializes in senior team performance in order to accelerate the teams’ development and increase their leadership impact. Clients appreciate her ability to align behavioral insights with strategic imperatives. She is passionate about helping her clients build talent pipelines that are future fit.
Most recently, Ms. Patel worked with a leading global advisory firm where she specialized in CEO succession, C-suite assessment and development, talent strategy, cultural integration and board effectiveness. She has also worked across a broad range of industries, functions, and geographic regions.
Earlier, she worked for the Department of Defense US Army Research Institute, focusing on analytics to evaluate and enhance officer training programs. She conducted behavioral science research focused on developing cognitive and interpersonal skills, identifying skill gaps, and utilizing research findings to support programmatic change. Ms. Patel has also held numerous research positions in academic fields of leadership assessment, selection and training.
Ms. Patel received her BS in Psychology and Minor in French from the University of Georgia and her MS and PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Auburn University in Alabama. She speaks fluent English, Gujarati and Hindi.
