In 2008, Janko Klaeijsen and I founded Top of Minds Executive Search. Shortly after that, a deep economic crisis hit the European continent. These were scary days. Interesting times too, but very challenging as the labor market was in ruins. We had to come up with something truly diversifying to claim a spot in the highly competitive market of executive search. We did find that, by creating a cross-over between employer branding and search. Great stories attract great people. The better your story is, the better the people you inspire – and recruit. So we built a team that combines marketeers with headhunters. And that unique combination has yielded an extensive range of long-term clients with whom we’ve developed a sustainable partnership, providing them with the best talent out there. My specialty is organizational development for fast-growing e-commerce companies, resulting in attracting new C-level staff.”
