Fintan McGovern, based in Dublin, is a consultant in Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications, CEO, and Board Services group. He is experienced in working with large multinational companies across a wide spectrum of leadership and advisory services. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Fintan was the CEO and co-founder of an IOT (Internet of Things) design Company called Firmwave, which was acquired by a larger technology company. Previously he served in senior executive roles in telecommunications, mining, and technology in Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. Fintan is very proud of his service to his country, as he served in the Irish Defence Forces as an Army Officer for 15 years with overseas service in Kosovo, Chad with the United Nations, NATO, and the European Union. Fintan holds an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Business Studies from the Atlantic Technical University (ATU), and he has graduated from the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme (OAMLP) from Said Business School, University of Oxford. In his spare time Fintan is passionate about all sports, but especially Gaelic Football, where he’s had the privilege to represent his county at the highest level.
