Mette Aagaard leads the firm’s Copenhagen office and is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice in the Nordics. Additional to this, she covers work within the Financial Officer practice across EMEA. Mette is further a core member of Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services team, working distinctly with executive assessment, team effectiveness, cultural transformation and leadership development. Based in Denmark, Mette brings a background in management consulting with an emphasis on financial services and corporate finance to her client work. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, she spent two years with another international executive search firm, where she conducted searches and executive assessments for clients in a range of industries. Earlier, she worked as a manager with Quartz + Co., a leading Nordic management consulting firm, and began her career as a consultant with PA Consulting. Mette holds an MSc from Copenhagen Business School, where she is also a frequent guest lecturer. She speaks fluent Danish and English, as well as basic French.
