John is an economics and financial services expert specializing in the valuation of businesses, securities, and derivative instruments; in the performance of solvency analysis; and in damages calculation. He has testified in a range of disputes in court and arbitrations. John has published more than 100 articles and 15 books on fixed-income and corporate finance topics. He has also published innovative models for calculating damages in 10b-5 securities fraud matters and wrongful-hiring disputes. John has a PhD in operations research from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Cambridge in England, where he was a Marshall Scholar. He was inducted into the Fixed Income Analysts Society Hall of Fame and is professor of finance at Fordham University.
