Biography
Ms. Johnston's experience spans from PE-backed startups to Fortune 200 corporate roles, architecting innovative solutions across healthcare organizations including payer, provider, academic medical centers, higher education, and technology organizations. Her focus with senior leaders is effectively mobilizing strategy within the constraints of ongoing business realities. She has led multiple complex transformations and provided support to a diverse group of leaders in organizations ranging from startups to large global corporations. She has worked extensively in organizations going through merger, acquisition, and post-merger integration processes. Ms. Johnston joined Korn Ferry after successfully exiting her third PE backed technology startup. Previously, she served as a Vice President at DaVita, globally responsible for senior leadership and organizational development, change management, executive coaching, and virtual learning. She joined DaVita from Accenture, where she was a Senior Manager with Accenture Strategy, focused on talent and organization across the international healthcare sector. A popular speaker, Ms. Johnston has presented in multiple countries on leadership topics ranging from effectively managing change to shifting organizational culture. Ms. Johnston holds a doctoral degree in psychology from Cornell University, with a focus on management decision-making. In addition, she holds a master's degree in human resource development from the University of Southern Maine, as well as a second master's from the State University of New York. She completed her bachelor's in human development at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
