Aleš is a Managing Partner of Cornerstone Prague, our member firm in the Czech Republic. He has 25+ experience in Management and HR consultancy, including Executive Search, Talent Acquisition & Development. In his previous position as Country Manager of Hewlett-Packard Education Services he was responsible for overall management of the HP Education Center in Prague. This included marketing, PR, product development & management, business development, HR, finance reporting & controlling. Prior joining HP, Ales was with the Hay Group (currently Korn/Ferry) where he specialized in helping organizations to increase their effectiveness and raise their management development by efficient organization of their human resources. Aleš has delivered consultancy projects and business solutions for a wide range of companies from the banking and insurance sectors to ICT/TELCO sectors. He has contributed to translating strategy into action by designing efficient human resources structures, employees’ roles and remuneration systems as well as by founding competency platforms within the clients’ companies in the Czech Republic, partly in Slovakia and Russia. Aleš was also responsible for projects of top executives remuneration in the Czech Republic and had a leading role in executive reward studies by carrying out the evaluation of organizational structure, processes and accountabilities of executive job roles by using the Hay Group’s Job Evaluation methodology “Hay Guide Chart® Profile Method“. Aleš has started his professional career in the recruitment business in 1986 at Polytechna Consulting. Later he moved to the Executive Search business at Recruitment International, ICT Prague (co-owner) and Neumann International. He has successfully completed many senior executive assignments across all functions, with an expertise in IT/TELCO, supply chain, FMCG and insurance / banking.
