Annie Pope partners with leading social impact organizations to conduct searches for C-suite executives and boards. Based in Washington, DC, she brings experience in the fields of civil and human rights, advocacy, philanthropy, and professional associations. This includes the social justice, global development, and trade and professional association practices. Prior to joining the firm, Annie worked in the mayor’s office in Houston, where she led the policy, strategy, and communications efforts for the city of Houston’s recovery from Hurricane Harvey. Before that, she was an assistant director at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City. She began her career as a nonprofit development consultant at Orr Associates. Annie holds a BA in international relations from American University and an MPA with a focus in urban policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
