Biography
Ayman Haddad is the managing partner of Middle East, Africa and Turkey for DHR International and is based in the firm’s Dubai office. Ayman has 30 years of professional experience including management consulting, leadership of a holding company and executive search. Ayman was previously a managing partner with Heidrick & Struggles focusing on CEO and senior level search and advisory assignments throughout the Middle East. His experience in building leadership teams spans the financial services, private equity, sovereign wealth funds and advanced technology sectors. Ayman is one of the founders and governors of the GCC Board of Directors Institute aimed at raising the Corporate Governance bar in the region.
Prior to his career in executive search, Ayman worked as a consultant for Accenture and as a partner for PwC in Europe and the Middle East helping clients transform their businesses from strategy development, business process improvement, to information technology. Ayman has also worked for a holding company with assets in the consumer and real estate industries as the acting CEO. He helped the group expand its core business, diversify its portfolio of assets, and implement best practices at the holding level.
Ayman holds an MBA with high honours from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He also earned a Master's degree, with high distinction, in Computer Engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France. He is a board member of several businesses and associations. He is fluent in French, Arabic, and English.
