Juanita is a Partner and Head of the Financial Services Practice of Odgers Berndtson in Colombia.​ With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, she has worked for the main banks of the country and at leading international law firms such as White & Case. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, she worked at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. for 14 years as country manager and head of the bank’s operations in Mexico and Colombia.​ She holds a Master's degree in Law (LL.M) from Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts), a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Law from the Institute of Social Studies, where she graduated with First Class Honors (The Hague, The Netherlands) and a Law Diploma (LL.B) from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).​
