Biography
Chiara Lupo is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Rome office and is a member of the firm’s Board, Technology, Media, & Telecommunications, and Education, Nonprofit, & Government practices. She brings more than 20 years of experience in executive search, assessment and advisory services to her client work.
Chiara focuses primarily on board projects, searches for non-executive chair and director assignments, and collaborations on board evaluation projects for listed companies across industries in Italy. She also contributes to the firm’s activities related to the development of corporate governance, and helps organize the Board Forum, an annual event that convenes the leaders of FTSE 100 companies to discuss governance issues. Chiara is also the co-author of the annual Italy Board Index.
Over her career, Chiara has carried out searches for top and senior management positions for companies operating in various industrial sectors. Currently, she supports clients in various technological segments, providing expertise via her extensive knowledge of market trends.
In the Education, Nonprofit & Government Practice, Chiara leads searches for public institutions and provides advisory services for NGOs, nonprofit organizations and active organizations in the “third sector.”
Chiara earned her bachelor’s degree in modern languages and literature from La Sapienza - Università di Roma and her post-graduate degree in tourism from UNWTO, the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of universally accessible tourism. A native Italian speaker, she also speaks fluent English and has a basic knowledge of Hungarian.
