Biography
Chris Seitz is a Senior Client Partner within Korn Ferry’s Asset Management Practice. Chris’ portfolio of search and advisory work spans front office and functional roles including CEO, head of distribution – both institutional and intermediary, head of product, chief marketing officer, head of consultant relations, intermediary channel leaders, defined contribution and retirement sales, as well as institutional sales, consultant relations, relationship management professionals and client portfolio managers. He is a recognized expert in investment product distribution and marketing and is regularly quoted in industry periodicals.
In addition to his body of distribution and marketing work, Chris successfully placed field consultants and private capital research leaders for investment consulting firms as well as chief investment officers and asset class leaders for endowments and plan sponsors. He also completed investment assignments for buy-side, equity, fixed income and alternative directors of research, portfolio managers and research analysts as well as chief compliance officers.
Chris’ clients include investment management firms, investment consulting firms, wealth management firms, insurance companies and institutional investors.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Chris established and led a boutique search firm for almost nine years. Before founding the firm, Chris was a Principal with the Asset Management Practice of a large global search firm. Earlier in his career, Chris was a consultant with the Human Capital practice of two world-class human capital consulting firms
Chris graduated with a master’s degree in business from the University of Rochester with a concentration in competitive and organizational strategy. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Hobart College where he lettered in baseball.
