Mikko Nieminen leverages his background in strategic consulting to advise boards, CEOs, and executives on leadership recruitment and development. He leads assignments across industries in CEO succession, non-executive board, and CXO positions with specific expertise in the Industrial and Private Capital Industries. Based in Helsinki, Mikko currently leads Russell Reynolds Associates’ operations in Finland. Mikko has deep expertise in business strategy, business transformation, organizational design, M&A, and post-merger integration. Previously, he spent nearly 20 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), most recently as a partner and managing director. During his time at BCG, Mikko led the firm’s people and organization practice and transformation practice in the Nordic region. Mikko holds an MS in industrial engineering and management from the Tampere University of Technology and an MS in finance from the Helsinki School of Economics.
