Biography
Debu is a seasoned consulting leader who has helped business leaders and startup founders create a lasting legacy. He leads the Career Accelerator at EMA Decision Dynamics which helps leaders and executives find pathways to increase their individual and team effectiveness. He is also part of Harvard’s global facilitator pool for corporate learning and leadership development and serves as advisor to SHRM – Asia Pacific and MENA.
Debu has three decades of experience across Management Consulting, Media and Advertising and is focused on Innovation, Leadership and Transformation. Prior to joining EMA Partners he was a Partner at Deloitte where he delivered leadership programs and led the Innovation & Startup Ecosystem. He was internal faculty for Leadership Development of Deloitte APAC Partners at Deloitte University, Singapore wherein he worked as a facilitator and coach for young partners and directors. He has also worked with other leading management consulting firms such as Korn Ferry Hay Group, Hewitt Associates, Arthur Andersen and PwC, advising clients in India, Southeast Asia, Middle East and USA.
Over the past few years, Debu has been focused on the area of Leadership and Entrepreneurship. He works closely with promoters, startup founders and professionals to address business transformation issues through Open Innovation Programs, Program Management, Leadership Development & Coaching and Change Management.
He has been instrumental in conducting India’s Best Boards Study for three editions in partnership with The Economic Times. He is a regular conference speaker on talent management, innovation and leadership. Currently, Debu is exploring the field of neuroscience and its relevance for leadership.
