Biography
Ms. Gochman has extensive experience designing human capital strategies that support the execution of business strategies, and also enhance the development and engagement of leaders.
Ms. Gochman leads Korn Ferry's assessment and succession solutions, overseeing the strategy, portfolio and community of consultants in these areas globally.
Her work in CEO and Executive Succession includes developing role profiles aligned with business strategies, assessing leaders against these profiles, coaching and developing executives, and working with boards and executives to create sustainable succession processes.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Gochman served in several global and North American thought and operational leadership roles at Towers Watson, Watson Wyatt, and Towers Perrin. As part of her responsibilities, she led ongoing global research efforts on how human capital practices and employee engagement impact financial performance.
Ilene has worked with clients across a wide variety of industries and geographies. She has spoken at numerous professional and industry conferences and shared her expertise in articles, videos, webinars and other media.
Earlier in her career, she served as director of organization planning, development, and quality at International Paper, and as an assistant professor of psychology at Rutgers University.
Ms. Gochman earned her doctoral degree in psychology from the University of Washington, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
