Jevon Walton (he/him) brings an in-depth background in advancement and development to his role as an associate in WittKieffer’s Education Practice. Jevon supports searches for advancement leadership as well as other key roles across the academic leadership spectrum. Jevon connects with clients by getting to know their challenges and visions and working with them to think strategically about their leadership needs. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Jevon was senior coordinator for diversity and talent management with CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. In this role, he created a roadmap for engagement with minority serving institutions through the development of an Opportunity & Inclusion Center. Jevon is also co-founder and philanthropic strategist for Syndeo, LLC, in which he created donor development strategies for nonprofits and educational institutions. He also served as director of strategic initiatives for the Philanx Group, providing strategic and tactical expertise to clients on nonprofit philanthropy. Earlier in his career, Jevon was director of development for the Howard University School of Law. Outside of work, Jevon is a board member for the Yu Ying Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and volunteering.
