Mr. Buffet works with senior executives and their teams to help realize their full leadership potential in the service of increased value-creation and greater organizational well-being. His consulting approach is both highly relational and data-driven. Working from their organization's strategic priorities, he helps leaders achieve greater alignment and harness the full potential of talent. Mr. Buffet brings to Korn Ferry over twenty years of consulting experience with a focus on assessing and coaching senior leaders, developing high-performing teams, and enabling organizational transformation through data-based interventions. He has industry experience in life sciences, financial services and luxury retail. Mr. Buffet partnered with the CHRO at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company to transform the executive assessment and development practice through greater methodological rigor and scalability. After leading the design of a new leadership competency model, he designed an agile assessment solution and introduced transition coaching, enabling greater speed and improved retention of talent. He led a team that delivered over 600 individual executive assessments and coached over 100 leaders over a period of 4 years. Working with the CEO of a luxury goods organization, Mr. Buffet oversaw the assessments of all members of the Executive Leadership Team and twenty of their direct reports. The assessment process led to follow-up leadership development programs for both the executive team and the extended leadership team, which included about 30 Senior Vice Presidents and Senior Directors. Through a combination of leadership offsites and one-on-one coaching engagements, he helped drive greater team effectiveness and increased engagement, at a time when the organization was going though significant growth and re-structuring. Mr. Buffet holds a PhD in organizational psychology from Columbia University and a doctorate in clinical human sciences from the University of Paris. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Buffet was managing consultant and head of the Leadership Resilience practice for the Americas at YSC. Prior to this, he was an owner and managing partner at Fisher Rock Consulting, and a partner at Oliver Wyman Delta. He started his career as an Officer Psychologist in the French Navy. He is the former president and board member of the Metropolitan New York Association of Applied Psychology and an active member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He is a dual citizen of the United States and France. He speaks French, English and Spanish.
