As Founding Partner of Vaco San Antonio, Beth Hair has surrounded herself with a hand-picked team of professionals and consultants living and breathing the idea of servant leadership. She embodies our Vacotian ideals and thrives on harnessing the right resources to bring creative solutions to our clients and consultants. Beth spent the first half of her career in the corporate world. Cruising down the accounting & finance professional path holding Internal Audit, Controller, and Finance roles, she developed a keen understanding of what worked and what didn’t, what clients really needed, and how she could add value to the experience. Armed with those insights, Beth switched career gears and went on to open offices for two national professional services firms in San Antonio before founding her own firm, Aventine Hill Partners, in 2009. Under Beth’s leadership, AHP was recognized on the Inc 5000 list of “Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America” for 4 years in a row, as well as a “Top Workplace” for 3 years in a row. Long story short-ish: joining forces was a no-brainer. Beth’s entrepreneurial story is exactly what Vaco is all about. Aventine Hill Partners became part of the Vaco family in 2019. Beth is a tackler of big challenges in work and in life—mountain-sized things, actually. She and her husband proudly hold multiple 14,000-foot hikes under their mountain-climber belts, as well as bragging rights that come with conquering Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Her secret to professional and personal feats of strength? “When things are intense and challenges are above and beyond, ” she says, “embrace the opportunity to differentiate yourself, grow and make your mark…and don’t forget to have fun!” Beth is involved with several community and professional groups in the San Antonio area, including the Board of Directors for St. Mary’s Forum on Entrepreneurship, advisory member for Accelerated Corporate Growth (ACG) and the Financial Executives International (FEI). She lives in the beautiful Hill Country near San Antonio with her husband Scott Dickinson and two favorite bandana-wearing dogs.
