Scott Burton partners with companies across the technology industry to identify and develop executive leaders who drive growth. Based in Atlanta, he brings extensive leadership experience in strategic growth, M&A integration, and organizational development. Previously, Scott was the CEO and founder of Whitaker Taylor – a technology consulting firm that specialized in implementing SAP. In that role, he spent 14 years directing comprehensive strategies for growth, end-to-end talent acquisition, and expanding the firm’s global footprint by opening an office in Amsterdam. During that time, he also co-authored the book SAP Lessons Learned - Human Capital Management. In 2021, Scott oversaw the sale of his company to HR Path and, as a partner, spent the following year supporting the transition. Scott holds a BS in management information systems from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Cornell University. He currently serves on the boards of Tandem Bank and Atlanta Beltline Partnership. Previously, Scott also served on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce as on the board of advisors and as a co-chair of the Workforce Development Council. He is also a member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF).
