Bess Hawker is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the global Industrial, CEO & Board of Directors, and Supply Chain & Operations Officers practices. She has international experience conducting operating and board searches for both public and private clients. Bess has expertise in CEO, COO, supply chain and operations, and board searches for clients in multiple industries, including industrial, consumer, eCommerce, consumer electronics, and manufacturing. Before moving to the New York office, Bess was based in the Sydney office where she worked with clients in the transport and logistics, infrastructure, and energy sectors, focusing primarily on board and CEO engagements for international and Australian listed and major unlisted companies. She also conducted CEO succession assignments for ASX50 industrial companies. In addition to her executive search experience, Bess is qualified in several psychometric assessments, including the Hogan Personality Assessments, SHL Abilities, and Saville wave Personality Assessment. Bess has conducted more than 100 assessments, specializing in the context of CEO Succession, assessment and development of internal talent, and in general selection activities. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Bess worked with commercial litigation law firms in Australia.
