Leveraging two decades of diverse experience, including 15 years in operational, consulting, and transactional roles in the restaurant, foodservice, and consumer retail sectors, Derrick has dedicated his career to driving improvements in operations and profitability.
His focus areas include strategic menu pricing, sales channel profitability, overhead cost reduction, store-level operations, new-business assessment, and financial modeling.
Before joining AlixPartners, Derrick owned and operated Papa John’s units as a franchisee, growing average sales to nearly $1 million and achieving 95% customer service satisfaction levels. Additionally, his background includes private equity and investment banking, where he was involved in several restaurant and retail transactions.
