Biography
Mr. McAllister identifies Chairman and Non-Executive Board Directors for clients in both the UK and overseas.
Since joining Korn Ferry in 2006, he has placed Board Directors across a range of organisations, predominantly in the financial services, technology, telecoms, media and life sciences sectors.
Organisations have ranged in size from FTSE 100 and 250 companies to start-ups and pre-IPO businesses. These are organisations based in the UK and internationally. He has particular experience of placing ‘digital' Board Directors and co-authored the Korn Ferry Institute paper ‘The Digital Board'.
He has also worked in the not-for-profit space for a range of domestic and international organisations with a focus on education and health.
Before joining Korn Ferry, Mr. McAllister worked for the multi-national law firm, Clifford Chance, in their internal analysis and strategy team between 2003 and 2006. His focus was on working with partners and senior management on client and firm strategy, planning, client relationship management, pricing and business unit performance management.
Mr. McAllister began his career with Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) in 1997 as a consultant in their London office. He was a member of the retail practice, consulting to clients in that sector on strategy, business process re-engineering and ERP implementations in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Western and Eastern Europe.
Mr. McAllister studied politics at the University of Durham and has a master of business administration from The Business School, Imperial College, London.
