Maria Howland is a consultant at MU since 2023. She is a member of the Financial Services Practice as well as the Digital Practice Group in the MU Main Office in Frankfurt, Germany. She is focused on Executive Search mandates within the Financial Services sector, especially the Banking sector. Before joining Mercuri Urval, Maria was an Engagement Manager in the Industrial CEO & Board Practice Group, at another top global Executive Search Firm. Prior to that, she worked as a Principal with focus on Execution & Business Development. And finally she has freelanced, providing research services across a broad spectrum of functional areas and industry sectors. Maria work closely with all practice groups in order to provide our clients with high qualitative solutions for their Executive Search and Premium Talent Advisory needs. Her passion is dedicated to placing the right candidate and advancing female representation in leadership roles Maria holds a master´s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Goethe University, Frankfurt and is a certified Business Coach for individual coaching. Speaks fluent German, Portuguese and English.
