Biography
Mr. Burman brings with him over 17 years of rich experience working across myriad industries from consumer goods and retail banking to IT and management consultancy. He honed his industry and management consulting skills focusing on banking, insurance and telecom sectors across regions like US, Africa and India. He is responsible for the Communications sub sector, Professional Services and IT Services sectors.
Mr. Burman joined Korn Ferry from PWC, where he was Director - Strategy and Operations. His key role was to partner with Financial Service Organizations to create and execute business and operations strategy. He was also a regular speaker and panelist at CII summits on Financial Product Distribution.
Prior to PwC, Mr. Burman worked with Accenture as a CRM consultant leading several high profile projects, conceptualizing and implementing sales and service transformation in both private and public sector organizations.
He had a brief stint with Infosys too where he was a part of large scale integration projects.
Mr. Burman's early career was spent in the banking industry working with global majors such as Citibank N.A. and HSBC in their consumer banking business. He had a brief stint in the FMCG sector as well.
Mr. Burman has a MBA from the University of Delhi, Faculty of Management Studies as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi.
